Strowman talked about getting in better overall physical condition and simultaneously mocked his SummerSlam opponent’s physique,
“I’ve cleaned my diet up a little bit. I started doing meal prep stuff again and trying to eat a little bit cleaner because I was starting to put on a little bit of a belly. I’ll leave the bellies to Kevin Owens.”
Strowman elaborated on his change of diet,
“Leading up into this, I really dialed down on the diet and the gym workouts, trying to clean my diet up, get my cardio back where it needs to be because I hadn’t had any big, long matches or anything, so I’ve been working on that. I’ve switched back to eating meal prep stuff. I’ve been eating around 6-7 meals a day and consist of around 10 ounces of cooked meat either beef, chicken, or fish a cup of rice, and some vegetables. I’m putting away 4.5 pounds of cooked meat a day right now so I’m kind of a carnivore…It’s not cheap. Everybody always says they want to be gigantic and a monster and this and that. It’s a commitment maintaining this.”
Strowman details an incredible commitment; but, may still find it a struggle to stay on the straight and narrow. He also revealed that he was tempted by a Nathan’s hot dog sign and that his favorite dish includes anything Italian, like pizza.
