According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam in August. Meltzer didn’t discuss a possible opponent for Lesnar but said that with Lesnar re-entering the USADA testing pool ahead of his fight with Daniel Cormier, this would be the last WWE match of Lesnar’s current contract.
Brock Lesnar has been Universal Champion since beating Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 last year. His last title defence came in April at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
