AJ Styles defended the WWE Championship after the SmackDown and 205 Live tapings. Styles defended the title against Shinsuke Nakamura but the match didn’t last long. The Bar interfered on Nakamura’s behalf which led to Gallows and Anderson coming out to Styles’ aid. Styles, Gallows, and Anderson stood together to end the night.
