Finn Balor has qualified for the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match after he defeated Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns in the main event on RAW.
The match was not without controversy, as Jinder Mahal ran in and pulled Roman Reigns down, following up on an earlier comment Mahal made to Kurt Angle about Reigns not deserving the match. The distraction ended up working, as it allowed Zayn to hit Reigns with a Helluva Kick, but Balor ended up taking control and hit Zayn with the Coupe de Grace for the win.
Balor is the second man to qualify for the men’s match after Braun Strowman did tonight; the following matches are also set for this week’s episode of Smackdown:
- The Miz versus Jeff Hardy
- Rusev versus Daniel Bryan
That leaves four more spots left to fill, as Kurt Angle confirmed on tonight’s show that each Money In The Bank ladder match would feature eight participants.
