PWInsider.com has a new report up looking at they know about the current discussions going on between Rey Mysterio and WWE.

- Mysterio have been in ongoing conversations about a WWE return ever since his surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble, which received a strong reaction
- Triple H is reportedly the man handling the negotiations between the two sides
- PWInsider cannot confirm that a return to WWE would lead to a match between Mysterio and Cena at WrestleMania
- PWInsider is refuting Justin Barrasso’s report that Rey Mysterio was backstage last night at WWE Smackdown Live
- Previous talks between Mysterio and WWE did not work out because Mysterio is not looking to work a full-time schedule
- Mysterio is scheduled to face Jushin Thunder Liger at NJPW’s Strong Style Evolved show in Long Beach next month but if he were to a sign a deal with WWE it would preclude him from taking any more NJPW bookings
