WWE Previews Week 2 Of Mixed Match Challenge
WWE has released their preview for tonight’s episode of WWE Mixed Match Challenge which will stream live on Facebook immediately following Smackdown Live.

The groundbreaking WWE Mixed Match Challenge Tournament continues tonight with an explosive first-round showdown pitting Big E & Carmella against Intercontinental Champion The Miz & Asuka, immediately following SmackDown LIVE at 10 ET/7 PT, exclusively on Facebook Watch. The winning team will take on Sasha Banks & Finn Bálor in the second round.
Whether she is securing a World Championship contract as the first ever Ms. Money in the Bank or entering the first-ever 30-Woman Over-the-Top Royal Rumble Match on Sunday, Jan. 28, for an opportunity at a second World Title Match at WrestleMania, Carmella’s greatest strength just might be her ability to position herself for greatness. Now, after the WWE Universe selected Big E to pair up with her in the Mixed Match Challenge, The Princess of Staten Island has definitely secured a third potential windfall.
Big E, who is one-third of the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history, has been instrumental in the success of The New Day from the get-go. Out of all the competitors in the tournament, the charismatic Superstar could be primed to make the biggest impact of all, as he boasts a staggering blend of size, strength and agility. Together, Carmella and Big E will exude a confidence that is second to none, and if they can learn to operate on the same frequency, they may just have the game to rise to the top of the pile in the unique Facebook Watch showdown.
In addition to being a former WWE Champion, a eight-time Intercontinental Champion, a two-time United States Champion and a Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner, The Miz stands as a six-time Tag Team Champion. This shows that he can indeed play well with others and do so at the top of his game.
Now, he will be teamed with the unbeaten Empress of Tomorrow, whose incredible run of success includes an unprecedented 523 days as NXT Women’s Champion, a title she only vacated before welcoming the new challenge of the main roster. Since joining Raw, the dynamic competitor has taken WWE by storm and continues to show that she simply doesn’t know how to lose. Put simply, Miz’s extensive and title-laden experience, mixed with the unbelievable skill of the unbeaten Asuka, may prove to be an extremely effective combination.
