New CZW Champion Crowned Last Night
Shane Strickland, also known as Killshot in Lucha Underground, won the CZW Championship & DEFY Wrestling Championship in New Jersey last night. Strickland’s victory came against Davey Richards, Joe Gacy and Lio Rush.

CZW & Ex-ROH Star Set To Sign For WWE?
Speaking of Rush, the 22-year-old announced during last night’s show that his final appearance for Combat Zone Wrestling will take place when he faces Joey Janella on August 5th. As reported by PWInsider Rush was apparently in Orlando this week and was offered an NXT deal, with his signing said to be ‘imminent’.
