NJPW Reveals G1 Climax 27 Blocks, Omega vs Okada III Very Likely

New Japan Pro Wrestling has revealed the A and B blocks for the upcoming G1 Climax tournament, which takes place from July 17th to August 13th, and will air live on NJPW World.

The winner of the tournament typically receives an IWGP Heavyweight Title shot at Wrestle Kingdom, and last year’s tournament was won by Kenny Omega.

Below are the blocks for this year’s tournament, and the full schedule will be released tomorrow:

First Look at Curt Hawkins and Swoggle in New Movie

Several months back we reported that WWE star Curt Hawkins will be featured in the new movie (Romance) In The Digital Age. Earlier today Alternative Press Magazine ran the first look on their website, and you you can check it out below.

The segment from the film features Curt Hawkins as well as former WWE star and current Impact Wrestling star Swoggle. Hornswoggle plays himself in the movie, while Hawkins plays the role of Pythagoras.

The film also features appearances from Bull Dempsey and Virgil, and will be released by Comedy Dynamics this holiday season.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
