Daniel Bryan announced he was stripping Carmella of her Money In The Bank briefcase, and it would be up for grabs again in a Money In The Bank ladder match on next week’s Smackdown.
Bryan listened to the women’s division competitors all night before inviting them to the ring for his decision. Bryan said Carmella was right, and she did nothing illegal, but he could not let it stand. He said there’s been other interference in these matches, but they’ve never had someone else climb the ladder and hand the briefcase to the winner. With that said, he stripped Carmella of the case and announced the five women would have a rematch on next week’s show, joining a lineup of three other matches announced by Bryan.
