WWE Survivor Series
Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan just made two major championship announcements, first revealing Kalisto will challenge Brian Kendrick for the Cruiserweight Championship at WWE Survivor Series.
The RAW branded title will be defended against Smackdown’s Kalisto, but the stipulation will be if Kalisto wins, the Cruiserweights will become Smackdown exclusive.

Additionally, it was announced that The Miz will challenge Dolph Ziggler on next week’s 900th episode of Smackdown. The match was put together after Miz and Maryse voiced their displeasure about titles possibly changing shows, and Miz might not get his Intercontinental Championship rematch if Sami Zayn took the title to RAW. Bryan proposed Miz get his title shot next week, and Maryse accepted on his behalf.

Baron Corbin
On a related note, while Kalisto is getting a title shot at Survivor Series, his Smackdown opponent tonight, Baron Corbin, has been removed from Team Smackdown at the pay-per-view event due to injury.
Kalisto ended up injuring Corbin, attacking his knee after their scheduled match did not take place and they ended up fighting at ringside. Corbin’s replacement will be named tonight.
