News on Tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live
Tonight, WWE will be broadcasting this week’s edition of WWE Smackdown Live from Birmingham, Alabama. Set for the show is John Cena vs Dean Ambrose and The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler.

WWE Leaving German TV?
According to PWInsider.com, several German news outlets are reporting WWE’s current TV home in Germany, TELE 5 will not renew it’s current contract with WWE when it ends in March 2017. The decision was made despite the fact that Raw is one of the most successful shows on the network.
Additionally, General Manager and WWE VP Europe Stefan Kastenmüller has told local media that Smackdown might also be moving, as the current deal the show has with Pro7 Maxx also ends in March 2017.
Kastenmüller added WWE has a lot of interest from broadcast, digital and paid subscription channels in the German market and expects to sign a new deal shortly.
Update on Another WWE Star Returning From Injury
As noted, Paige was backstage at Raw last night and is awaiting medical clearance to return to the ring. Emma, who has also been out of action with injury noted she has been cleared to return, and injured star Tamina has posted the following update:
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
