WWE Clash Of Champions
As seen in the opening of tonight’s WWE RAW, Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon announced Roman Reigns will challenge Rusev for the United States Championship at WWE Clash of Champions.
Additionally, Foley confirmed tonight’s show will feature a steel cage match when Roman Reigns faces Kevin Owens, in a rematch from last week’s show.
Tonight’s show started with Roman Reigns heading to the ring to vent about last week’s show, but Stephanie McMahon said she had a solution. Foley then came out and says he will put the people responsible in matches, but Reigns says he wants a piece of Rusev. Foley says Reigns will get the title shot on Sunday, then Reigns says he doesn’t value their word at this point. Foley says that hurts, but he says Reigns versus Owens will happen tonight, and it’s in the steel cage.
