Alexa Bliss is the new #1 contender to Becky Lynch’s WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship after winning a five way match on WWE Smackdown Live.
Bliss defeated Natalya, Naomi, Carmella and Nikki Bella to earn the title shot; the final moments of the match saw Bliss steal a pin attempt from Carmella, throwing her out of the ring before covering Nikki Bella for the win.

Following a teased angle on RAW last night, it was announced on WWE Smackdown Live that Jack Swagger has signed with the blue brand.
Swagger appeared on Smackdown tonight in a segment with Baron Corbin after it was teased on RAW that his contract was expiring. Swagger revealed he signed with Smackdown after last night’s show.
