JK: I hate to say it because it seems to have turned a corner now but the kind of flip-flopping that went on with Roman Reigns. It just felt like if you are going to go in a direction stick with it and see how far it goes. It was kind of like playing around with his character a little bit as far as promos go. Do we go in the storytelling and comedic role? Do we go with the bad ass kind of role? I prefer him being him. Less it more with Roman Reigns. Just let him come out, say a few words, “I’m gonna kick your butt,” that’s it. They finally I think found the right mix but it took almost the entire year to figure it out.

On what he thought was the best thing WWE did in 2015:

JK: To be honest with you and I know a lot of people might not agree with the choice here. To me it was the US Open Challenge that we had weekly from John Cena. The way he elevated that championship. Not only elevated the championship, he elevated guys in matches like Cesaro. Like Neville. Like Sami Zayn. Of course Kevin Owens. He basically gave all these young guys the rub and put them on the map. For me it was, for awhile there, the most exciting thing to watch every Monday night on RAW. To see, “Is it going to be someone new? Who is he going to work with?” Having great matches. A couple of them being legit match of the year candidates.

On what he sees The Rock doing at WrestleMania this year:

JK: I have this funny feeling, and I don’t have any inside knowledge, but with all of his movie commitments coming up and his limited schedule it seems like his physicality at Mania may be limited. I don’t know if there’s going to be a match involving him or if he is just going to be there to make an appearance. Possibly in a non-wrestling role but getting involved in some form or fashion. In the article I have both scenarios kind of mapped out a little bit. If he is to have a match how I see that coming about. If he is not to have a match how he could be incorporated in to WrestleMania other than just coming out and saying, “Finally The Rock has come back…” you know. That kind of stuff.
