The following is the updated card for WWE’s live event return to Madison Square Garden on 12/26:

Mark Henry Arrives in Jacksonville for Tribute to the Troops

As noted, WWE will be taping its annual Tribute to the Troops special tomorrow night in Jacksonville, FL. 

The Florida Times-Union has posted an article covering the tapings, and it features quotes from WWE Executive Vice President of Special Events John Saboor as well as comments from Mark Henry, who is already in Jacksonville for the event.

Henry had the following to say about the annual WWE special:

“I’ve been blessed to represent my country in two Olympic games for sport. But it’s not the same as representing your country on a field of battle. Dealing with our military makes me feeling like I’m contributing at a different level and it warms my heart as an American,” Henry said. “I get to shake the hands of the men and women that defend our freedom. There’s no amount of money of exposure that supersedes that feeling.”

“We do shows all year long, and none of them give you this feeling. There’s no one talent that doesn’t at least once break down and hug a soldier and tell them that they love them,” Henry said. “That is just an unbelievable feeling.”
