With a number of top WWE stars out of action with injury, Sheamus said he’s been in this position before and has faced a lot of fan scrutiny in the past, as both a heel and babyface. He added he’s been ready to go for a long time, since before winning Money in the Bank, and he feels like the last few months he’s been waiting for the opportunity he now has.
Sheamus says he is looking forward to the pressure of being Champion as he is 6 years into his WWE career and is at a different point in his career and is a different person. He added he knows what he is doing now, and also realizes that Seth Rollins will be back at some point and will be better than ever. So will a lot of other sidelined top stars right now but that does not mean he will let this chance of a lifetime pass him by. Sheamus said right now he has never felt better in his own skin.
