Rumored Matches For WWE Night of Champions PPV, IC Title Plans, Possible Mixed Tag Team Match and More

Now that WWE SummerSlam is in the books, Dave Meltzer noted on the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that several match plans are already being discussed for WWE Night of Champions taking place next month.

After his Intercontinental Title retention at WWE SummerSlam last night, it looks like Ryback will be defending his title in a singles match against The Miz at Night of Champions.

Another match likely for Night of Champions is a mixed tag team match featuring Dolph Ziggler and Lana vs Rusev and Summer Rae. As noted earlier today, an undisclosed medical condition could be preventing Lana from receiving clearance to compete in an actual match, but regardless of her in-ring status the feud between Ziggler and Rusev does not appear to be over.

Nikki Bella’s Divas Title will be defended at the Night of Champions PPV, as well as The New Day’s newly won Tag Team Titles.

Tonight on Raw we will obviously witness the fallout from last night’s “Winner Take All” match, but it remains to be seen how long Seth Rollins will hold both the WWE World and U.S. Titles.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
