Update on Sting Appearing at SummerSlam

summerslamAs noted, Sting is heavily rumored for next month’s WWE SummerSlam PPV, and a likely indication that he will be appearing on the PPV is that WWE has announced a meet-and-greet with Sting on Friday, August 21st.

The session will take place at the 40/40 Club in the Barclays Center at 1pm, and the $125 ticket includes 1 8×10 autographed photo of Sting and a professional photo-op with Sting. The Ticketmaster pre-sale for the session begins July 30th.

WWE Announces Its Quarterly Dividend

WWE has issued the following press release:

WWE® DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

STAMFORD, Conn., July 23, 2015 – WWE (NYSE:WWE) announced that its Board of Directors today declared the Company’s regular quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share for all Class A and B shares of common stock. The record date for the dividend will be September 15, 2015, and the payment date will be September 25, 2015.

Why Last Night’s NXT Show Was Heavily Edited

According to The Wrestling Observer, last night’s edition of WWE NXT was heavily edited, due to how vocal the crowd was. Anytime NXT Takeover Brooklyn was mentioned, the fans booed loudly as they were unhappy that the event is not taking place at Full Sail University.
