Daniel Bryan Reveals Past Concussion Details, Says He Has “No Idea” When WWE Will Clear Him to Return, Photo of Bryan on WFAN Show

Earlier today (July 23), WWE superstar Daniel Bryan was on WFAN in New York to talk to hosts Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton of ‘Boomer & Carton’ about his career, his marriage to Bella Twin, Brie Bella, and his story of when their house was robbed. He also dropped by to chat about his autobiography, “Yes! My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania,” and share a few laughs.

During the interview, Bryan revealed he has suffered concussions in the past, and in today’s world it is a lot more difficult to get medically cleared to return to the ring. Bryan added he has been medically cleared by a Phoenix based NFL doctor, but WWE remains hesitant to clear him because they don’t want to be liable if he suffers another concussion. He added he has no idea when WWE will clear him to return to the ring.

Bryan also revealed he has three years left on his WWE contract, and he is frustrated with not being able to get back in the ring even though he feels amazing.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
