Backstage Update on Top NXT Divas Possibly Making WWE Main Roster Debuts

nxt diva WWE Diva Paige is currently involved in a TV feud with Divas Champion Nikki Bella, as well as Brie Bella and the newest member of “Team Bella”, Alicia Fox.

Team Bella has continued to play the numbers game and get the best of Paige on TV as of late, and no one has yet to come to the aid of Paige against The Bellas.

This has lead to speculation that some of the current top NXT Divas, namely Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and/or Bayley, might make their WWE main roster debuts and team up with Paige.

According to the latest edition of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said WWE execs recently sent a list of NXT names to NXT officials, alerting them that the WWE creative team has no immediate story line plans for the names on the list. Interestingly, Charlotte and Sasha Banks were not on that list.

It certainly seems like this is the direction in which WWE is going, with Paige the underdog in her feud against Team Bella, and her apparent need for help. This, coupled with the fact that both Bella Twins have spoken openly about urging Vince to bring some new blood to the Divas division on the main roster, makes me believe we will see at least one or two NXT Diva names on the main roster sooner rather than later. The question is, of the “Four Horsewomen of NXT,” who should be brought to the main roster first?

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
