Backstage Update On TNA Running Live Events, Notes On MVP’s New Stable, NYC Taping Schedule And Attendance

impact wrestlingUpdate On TNA Running Live Events

TNA will not be running any non-televised events in the near future, even with the new television deal with Destination America coming into effect.

TNA will do a few pay-per-view events, but will focus on their TV shows, including Impact Wrestling, Xplosion, and other new programming. It doesn’t help TNA financially to hold any live events (“house shows”) since they would be losing money if it’s not part of the TV set of shows.

More Impact Wrestling Notes

– Tonight’s TNA television taping at the Manhattan Center in New York City will be for the 2015 Lockdown special.

– It was previously reported that approximately 450 fans attended Wednesday’s TNA tapings, and up to 350 fans attended Thursday’s. It is being said that tonight’s set of tapings are at sold out capacity.

– As we reported in our spoiler reports for the next two episodes of Impact Wrestling, MVP’s new stable will be called BDC, or “The Beat Down Crew”. The BDC will receive a lot of attention going forward, and TNA is looking to get them a lot of heat for the next several weeks.

It was reported that they filmed at least one outdoor segment in New York City yesterday.
