Randy Orton “Injury” Update
During tonight’s WWE Main Event episode on the WWE Network, Michael Cole reiterated what was already announced earlier in the day: Randy Orton has exhibited “concussion-like symptoms” following an attack from Seth Rollins and the Authority. He also noted that Orton will be out for “several weeks”, and claimed he will not be a part of ANY Survivor Series team.
Of course, this is a storyline way to write “the Viper” off television, so he can film a movie. It’s unknown if Orton will be back in time for Survivor Series, but after a successful babyface turn on WWE RW this week, the obvious direction would be to bring him back as a member of John Cena’s team before the PPV.
