(1) Baron Corbin vs. Elias Samson
The match was about 20 seconds long. Big chant of “Baron’s gonna kill you” before the bell. He hit the End of Days finisher immediately for the squash.
Winner: Baron Corbin
-Carmella will debut tonight, after weeks of training with Enzo Amore and Big Cass.
-Sami Zayn is out with a microphone, and the crowd is already setting in with loud “Ole!” and “Sami!” chants. He thanks the fans for that reaction, and talks about losing to Titus O’Neil last week, fair and square. Zayn says he’s sick of losing fair and square, because he’s better than that, and he’s proven it time and time again. He says it’s time to refocus and become the NXT Champion, but is cut off by Tyson Kidd. Kidd tells him to face reality, and the fact is he’ll never be NXT Champion. Tons of heat. Sami asks if he got Natalya’s permission before coming out, and tells him to go home and watch re-runs of Total Divas. We’ve got a match agreement for later tonight.
