Xavier Woods Dismisses Stable Name
A fan recently asked WWE Superstar Xavier Woods about the status of the rumored (and often reported) stable featuring himself, Big E and Kofi Kingston.
The stable has been referred to online as the ‘New Nation’, calling back to the Attitude Era’s Nation of Domination, which featured almost all black wrestlers. (Owen Hart being the exception)
Woods responded to the fan’s question about the group being more than a ‘house show gimmick’ with the following tweet:
No clue man-Ive never been a part of a “new nation” but I do hang with my smart/athletic friends #ThingsInCommon @iamJNX @WWEBigE @TrueKofi

Itami Inspiration

It is being reported that KENTA’s name change to Hideo Itami was inspired by baseball and Japanese manga. The ‘Hideo’ part comes from former MLB pitcher Hideo Nomo, and Itami comes from the Naruto manga anime.
