I write a wrestling column every Monday and Friday for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. It can be found online at TribLIVE.com.
The latest column talked about who should be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion while Daniel Bryan is injured. The following is an excerpt:
Daniel Bryan just had neck surgery, and it's unknown how long he'll be out of action. Based on initial reports, he won't return until SummerSlam.
SummerSlam is an event that has great significance to Bryan's career. He returned after being fired in 2010, won the world title last year and lost it seconds later when Triple H gave him a pedigree, which allowed Randy Orton to cash in his Money in the Bank contract.
“Monday Night RAW” in England is supposed to give us an update on Bryan's health and what will happen with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The best and only logical option is for Triple H to become the next champion.
