WWE Main Event on ION this week drew an average of 1.396 million viewers. It averaged .402 million in adults 18-49, or a .32 rating.
Despite being down slightly from last week (6%), this is still a good number for WWE. Last week was headlined by Daniel Bryan and Kane, and for the second week in a row, it seems as if the WWE Network had virtually no affect on the ION television rating.
IMPACT unfortunately can't say the same for Thursday nights. Their recent low ratings could directly be attributed to NXT airing live on the Network, not to mention the HUGE promotional push WWE gave that live debut show two weeks ago during the free trial period.
There are some in TNA really looking at IMPACT's ratings this week as a tell-tale sign of just how much NXT might affect them long-term. If this week's number doesn't at least show a positive trend from last week, NXT will be viewed as a major reason why.
