Interesting Randy Orton Statistic
Thanks to John Finnegan for sending in the following:
According to NorthAmericanWrestlingRankings.blogspot.com, which started keeping track of wrestlers’ records and ranking them as of Nov. 2006, when Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler on the 10/21/13 episode of Raw it was his 300th televised singles match. That makes him the first wrestler to reach this milestone. [He has had 2 televised singles matches since then for a total of 302 matches].
The only other active wrestlers to have had more than 200 tv/ppv matches [as of 11/11/13] are:
CM Punk: 290
Kane: 245
Kofi Kingston: 244
John Cena: 239
Dolph Ziggler: 230
The Miz: 209
The Big Show: 205
Jeff Hardy: 202 [combined WWE & TNA]
[NOTE: these records count t.v. and ppv singles matches since Nov. 2006 ONLY].
WWE Pulls Leaked Raw Footage From YouTube
Citing a copyright claim, WWE pulled two videos from YouTube that leaked from Raw last week.
One video featured Michael Cole and the announce team preparing for the Raw broadcast, and you could hear Cole talking about how a wrestler was going to be put through a table later in the show.
The other video featured The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Big E. Langston preparing for a WWE App segment, during which Ziggler was using expletives and "colorful" language.
