As we reported earlier this week, Reid Flair's autopsy results revealed an overdose on heroin, as well as other anti-anxiety medications in his system. His family commented on the passing, and this new information, as the entire incident was covered by the Charlotte Observer this weekend.
Reid's mother, Beth Fliehr, said that the autopsy results did not surprise her.
"It [the report] makes it harder, I knew his fears and I knew how to help him. All he wanted to do was stay busy, train and keep his mind off the old triggers, then go back to Japan. He was doing really well there. He was happy.”
