Chair Shot Reality Produces Record Setting Episode; Nearly 200,000 Views

The 164th episode of Chair Shot Reality, featuring three parts on WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view airing from Feb. 15-17 on Wrestlezone.com, produced record-shattering numbers for the online show.

The show garnered 180,000 total views from around the world, with the most viewers in the United States and Canada.

The third part, airing Sunday, had more than 90,000 views, another record for the show. It focused on WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship title matches.

Chair Shot Reality recently launched a new era. The show is being filmed and produced in the television studios of Point Park University in Downtown, Pittsburgh. The three regular on-camera co-hosts — Justin LaBar, Josh Isenberg and Brian Gulish — are all Point Park graduates.

Point Park broadcast majors and independent study students are working as the crew and daily producers for the show. Each week, students rotate in the role of director, technical director, graphics, tapes, audio, cameras and more.

The show has revamped its format to combine an ESPN debate with daytime talk show format. The show consists of the three regular co-hosts and a fourth chair occupied each week by a special guest. Former WWE announcer Jack Korpela occupied the guest chair for the first episode filmed at Point Park.

Independent wrestler Gregory Iron will be the special guest co-host on this week’s episode. Iron is best known as the Handicapped Hero who puts on amazing in-ring performances, despite suffering from cerebral palsy. Iron has been featured on ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Fox News and has been publicly endorsed by former WWE Champion CM Punk.

CSR looks forward to expanding the show while providing wrestling fans, promotions and wrestlers around the world a new platform. A platform to promote, debate and ultimately celebrate the exciting genre of professional wrestling.
