I attended the house show as I live in the Sydney Area and just thought in case anyone didn't inform you of the results, I'd help.
It was practically a full house tonight couple empty seats. Id say about 14,000 were there.
Brodus Clay def. Jack Swagger
Swagger got a lot of heat. Clay got a solid reaction and ended Swagger pretty quick. Only one Funkadactyl accompanied Brodus. Other one still in trouble with the law?
Layla def. Rosa Mendes
Layla was well liked but Rosa struggled to get a reaction. Boring match ending with a kick to the head from Layla. Crowd did not like it… Boring chants were present
The Miz def. Alex Riley
Good match. Miz had a solid heel performance and the crowd absolutely hated him.
Zack Ryder def. Tensai
Tensai dominated Ryder the whole match until somehow Ryder managed to hit the Rough Ryder and get the victory. No one cares for Tensai
R-Truth and Kofi Kingston def. Primo and Epico
The champs were well liked. Truth came out doing his whole Madman thing and it really worked with the crowd. Primo and Epico got the win at first with the help of Rosa. AJ Lee then restarted the match and then skipped to the back.Fans loved AJ. Kofi immediately hit the T.I.P and got the victory.
Intermission
Santino Marella def. David Otunga
Santino was met with a decent greeting and picked up the win very easy with the Cobra.
CM Punk def. Daniel Bryan
It was a Punk-Bryan calibre match enough said. Crowd seemed confused whether to boo or cheer Punk but by the end of the match they were all on Punk's side. Bryan had several mic spots during the match telling the crowd to stop taunting "YES!" Crowd soaked it up. Bryan got a bigger reaction than Punk whether it was cheering or mocking him.
John Cena def. Big Show and John Laurinaitis
Cena got the biggest pop of the night. Sydney goes nuts for him. Laurinaitis did a great job directing heat towards himself. Always sneakily attacking Cena. Cena one with the AA on Big Show. Laurinaitis tried a chair shot but Cena countered into an AA. Sent the crowd home happy.
Good show tonight. Nothing special.
