Vince McMahon starts the show by saying they needed to find a new General Manager than met a number of qualifications. He says the fans needs to respect him and he needs to get the job done, and he says they found that man in Booker T! Booker comes to the ring and shakes Vince's hand, then he thanks Vince and the WWE board for this opportunity. He says Smackdown is about to blow up, and he wants to get right to business, but Alberto Del Rio cuts him off.
Alberto says Booker should be happy to work with him, because he will be the new champion after Summerslam, but Booker says he doesn't like phony suck ups. Booker says he heard Alberto says Sheamus was beneath him, and Alberto calls Sheamus a commoner and says he grew up as a fat little red-headed hooligan. Alberto says he was bred for greatness so he doesn't needed to kiss up, then Sheamus comes out and congratulates Booker and says they should celebrate after the show. Sheamus says he can mock him all he wants, but he's proud of who he is, and he won't take time off because he's scared.
Sheamus asks Alberto if he is serious about not competing until Summerslam, but Booker cuts them off and says they both will compete. Booker says they have individual matches tonight, then Alberto says he isn't listening to him, but Booker says he's the boss and he will face Randy Orton. Booker tells him to get out of here and to go get ready, then Alberto backs up the ramp and says he is above being treated like this. Booker tells Sheamus he shouldn't go anywhere, because he is in for a fight against Tensai right now.
