Tonight WWE Smackdown goes LIVE, bringing the "Great American Bash" to the SyFy channel for the very first time!
WWE.com has announced several matches and teasers for tonight's episode of Smackdown, including a 20-man Battle Royal featuring Superstars from both Raw and Smackdown. WWE Champion CM Punk and John Cena have already been confirmed for the match, as well as Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Alberto del Rio and the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus.
The Great Khali will team up with WWE Diva's Champion Layla to take on Antonio Cesaro and Aksana in Mixed Tag Team action. Several other Superstars such as Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Rekks have teased an appearance on tonight's Smackdown on their official Twitter accounts as well.
While Cody Rodes has issued a "formal protest" surrounding his loss during a Money in the Bank qualifying match, Vickie Guerrero confirmed last week that we will see more participants added to the match in the weeks leading up to the PPV. There's a very good chance one or more will be added tonight!
Finally, Teddy Long returns to Smackdown as General Manager for the night! How many tag matches can he announce, and will a new GM for next week be named tonight? Find out as Smackdown goes live TONIGHT with the "Great American Bash" special, 8/7c on SyFy!
