— As reported, WWE has reached an agreement to sign former NWA-TNA star Johnny Swinger to a deal. The wrestler still has to finalize some paperwork, but all indications point to the deal going through.
WWE has also displayed interest in Frankie Kazarian, who left TNA this past week, but no deal has been signed. Reportedly, TNA is also looking to bring Kazarian back into the mix, so a decision on Kazarian’s future won’t be known for several days.
— RVD reportedly told fans at Wondercon that, being sidelined due to his injury, he cannot work the ECW PPV. However, he is still looking to make an appearance on the show, something most insiders feel is a virtual guarantee, should WWE go through with the idea of the ‘One Night Stand’ PPV.
