Lita Update, Stacy Keibler, Austin & More

Thanks to Bill & Chase Justice for sending the following:

I just got home from a Lita signing at the CarQuest Wheels of Wonder Car Show in Pittsburgh at the Convention Center. The signing was scheduled to run from 1:30-3:30. I finally reached Lita at about 3:45 and there was still 150+ people after me where security finally cut off the line. So, she was still signing until way past 4:30, probably closer to 5:00. Lita was the true professional. I have been to pro football and baseball signings where the “athletes” acted like total asses (Grow up Pirates…you guys aren’t stars), like we should be kissing their feet, but Lita was truly more professional than anyone I had ever met. Lita exemplified the Professional in professional wrestler. She went out of her way to make conversation with every person that made it to the stage and took the time to pose for pictures. But, to top it all off and which truly amazed me was when she stood up, in obvious pain, (but still smiling) and limped off stage to sign autographs and take pictures with a couple of guys in wheelchairs. She could have easily just signed the pics and had someone take them to the guys, but she went the extra mile. I was very proud to go from a casual Lita fan to a full blown Lita mark.

WWE News and Notes

– The new WWE Divas DVD, Viva La Divas, will feature Stacy Keibler on the cover.

– Stone Cold Steve Austin will be on the cover of next month’s Raw magazine. He is also confirmed for at least an appearance at WrestleMania 21.

– The Rock will be in New York all week due to his media promotion of “Be Cool”. There will mostly likely be lots of media interviews, which will probably bring up his WWE situation. He is set to be in David Letterman on Monday night and the Daily Show on Comedy Central on Wednesday night among others.
