Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel were the two man guys that pushed for the return of Nuevo Gran Apollo last night.
There is apparently some backstage heat on Jerelle Clark right now and that is likely why he isn’t being booked. We’re told Clark has a reputation of trying to hit all his spots in the match and not giving others a chance to get any offense. He has also been very vocal about his role in the company and what he wants to do. There was an issue a few months back where Michael Shane and Kazarian worked stiff with him to “smarten him up” Mikey Batts, his partner, has a great reputation backstage.
There was an issue between AJ Styles and Kid Kash last night at the Impact! tapings. According to reports, Styles got upset over something said in a promo for their match on this Friday’s Impact! episode. Styles felt he was shooting during the promo and approached him about it. The two have had issues in the past and they did go through with the match. When they finished, they worked things out upon returning backstage and that was that.
