There were several edits to SmackDown! this week from Albany, new York.
The first was during the HBK/Kurt Angle segment. During the taping, Angle went to the back, only to come back out once again to fight HBK. The two were separated and HBK’s music hit. This did not air.
They also taped two backstage segments that did not air to the live crowd. The segment where Chavo had a talk with Eddie Guerrero was added on. The Funaki/Big Show backstage segment where he confirmed a match for WrestlerMania with Akebono was also added in and not shown to the live crowd.
