WWE came in 7th place as the most searched term on the web in 2005. Those who came in ahead of WWE include Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Britney Spears, Poker, Dragonball, and Jennifer Lopez. Candice Michelle and John Cena were listed as numbers 4 and 5 respectively for most searched sports stars, although for Michelle, a “sports star” tag is a bit misleading. Anna Kournikova, Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were the top 3.
