AM Raw scored a 0.5 cable rating at 9AM on 12/23. The 2AM airing did a 1.0 cable rating, with a 4.4 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. Speaking of ratings, RAW averaged a 3.9 cable rating in 2006. RAW averaged a 3.81 rating in 2005.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that the internal betting line is that Tazz will be gone when his current contract expires in March 2007. Brad Armstrong was used on ECW on Sci Fi as a try out should Tazz leave the company. In addition to announcing for ECW, Tazz has continued doing radio work in New York.
Meltzer also reports that Vince McMahon actually said at production meeting that he believed ECW ratings have been falling due to a lack of humor on the show. Hmmm.
