At the WWE 2007 shareholders meeting Friday, Vince McMahon addressed the possibility of WWE being broadcast in High-Definition television. McMahon said WWE will be going to High-Definition within the next year and they have tested it. He said that the product looks amazing under that format but they don’t want to be too far ahead of the curve because that costs you money, while being too far behind gives the impression you aren’t on the cutting edge. McMahon said they feel they are dead on in terms of timing right now.
We don’t have any numbers for how well The Condemned performed at the box office yesterday in its third week of release because it didn’t rank within the top 13 movie grosses for the day. According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, the 13th highest grossing movie at the box office yesterday was Lucky You, which made the tidy sum of $360,000. The Condemned will probably be out of theatres by next week as its down to less than 600 theatres nationwide.
