Family and friends leaned on each other, holding hands, praying that 22-year-old John Graziano recovers from his injuries. “It’s going to take time,” Graziano’s girlfriend Ashley Berry said. “He’s progressing little by little, and we just need everyone to continue to pray.” And that’s what Wednesday night’s vigil was all about. Rain didn’t stop the large group from lighting candles and singing. At exactly 7:30, the time of Sunday’s accident, a special prayer was read aloud. John’s longtime girlfriend Ashley has been by his bedside since the accident. She says he’s unconscious, and that the Hogan family brought in a special doctor to check him out. They are optimistic. “They did say that the hospital is doing whatever they can,” Berry said. John’s older sister Christin has been at his bedside, too. “He’s my brother, and my hero and I love him very much,” she said.
