WWE Tryouts This Weekend, Stamboli Not Signed With WWE

With this weekâs WWE television tapings very close to Louisville, KY, expect numerous Ohio Valley Wrestling talents backstage and working tryouts. There are at least 6-8 names heading to the tapings.

Despite reports that he had signed a new deal with WWE, former WCW star Johnny Stamboli has not yet come to terms on a new contract with the company and the Impact Zone Wrestling announcement was premature. However, Stamboli is booked to go on the road with WWE for several weeks for an extended tryout. While the promotionâs announcement was premature, there is a lot of interest in WWE about signing Stamboli. Of course that was before Stamboliâs name surfaced in the recent steroid probe of Signature Pharmacy.

Talk about bad timing. Nick Hogan is featured on the cover of the September 2007 isue of RIDES Magazine. Inside the issue, Hogan is interviewed and has some comments that are down right disturbing in the wake of what happened last weekend in Florida. Here are some of the more notable news from the interview: Hogan bragged that he has been let off by cops not once, but TWICE – after going over 100 mph in one of his other cars, a silver Viper, because he’s a Hogan, and that he didn’t get a ticket on the same trip until he was stopped doing 123 mph in a 50 mph zone. When asked about the attention his sports cars get, Hogan said “The yellow Supra and yellow Viper are p*ssy magnets for sure. I mean, the green and the silver appeal more to men, âcause a guy knows what heâs looking at and will drool over it. But girls see the yellow, and panties start dropping off.” Nick bragged about “dusting” a Ferrari, “stomping out” a Lamborghini, and even racing his parents and sister in their rides.
