WWE management is said to be very upset at the amount of news that has been leaking online in recent months. Stephanie McMahon was said to be furious when she learned of reports that revealed Chris Jericho was the person behind the “Save Us” promos. Stephanie went as far as to review all company cell phone records of the writing team, and did a forensic check of the computers for e-mails leaks. This was not the first time WWE conducted such searches. WWE didn’t find any guilty parties, but did find excessive private calls, and yelled at the writers for it. Stephanie’s wrath did not stop there. She wants to revise the contracts of WWE’s creative writers to explicity state that WWE has 100% ownership of any ideas or concepts they come up with while working for WWE. She has already banned writers from being interviewed or talking to anybody from the media. Even after their time is up at WWE, they are not allowed to talk about their experience working for the company.

The Undertaker 15-0 DVD release that is exclusively available at Wal-Mart is heavily clipped. A number of his WrestleMania ring entrances have been cut off not to mention that about half the matches are joined in progress. Furthermore, the DVD doesn’t offer any interviews even though the DVD cover states that it features interviews from many of his opponents.

The latest edition of Michelle McCool’s Lovin’ Life column is up at this WWE.com.

The WWE Unforgiven 2007 DVD debuted at number one on Billboard’s Video Sales – Recreational Sports DVD chart this week.

On 10/23, the Sci-Fi Network agreed to renew ECW to a new one-year contract through the end of 2008. Sources are saying that the money terms were the same as the last deal. WWE was hoping for a multi-year renewal, but Sci-Fi officials wouldn’t go that far. WWE was worried that no deal would be made, and began putting full episodes of ECW on the website two weeks ago as preparation for not getting a new deal with the brand.

A DVD release titled “The Notorious Jewel De’Nyle & Shelly Martinez” is scheduled to be released in January 2008. It is a “Bettie Page-like” fetish film featuring the former WWE Diva.
