WWE is doing a three-brand house show on 1/26 in Providence, RI, the night before the Royal Rumble. WWE is also running a three-brand house show the night before the Survivor Series in Fort Myers, FL.
WWE is expected to announce an updated Wellness program, that will theoretically close up some of the loopholes in the current policy.
WWE’s April U.K. tour looks to be off to a good start. The 4/11 show in Liverpool has already sold out, as has the 4/19 Smackdown show in Glasgow. At last report, the 4/12 show in Cardiff is close to selling out.
Here are some recent WWE attendance figures:
– Raw on 10/29 in Philadelphia, PA drew 10,000 fans for a $400,000 gate.
– Raw on 11/3 in San Diego, CA drew 8,000 fans and a $300,000 gate.
– 11/4 Smackdown in Stockton drew a near sellout of 5,100 and a $180,000 gate.
– 11/4 Raw in San Bernardino drew 4,200 fans, with a live gate close to $170,000.
– The 11/5 Raw taping in Los Angeles at the Staples Center drew a sellout of 14,500 fans, and a live gate in the range of $500,000.
