WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy will face Carlito in a ladder match on next Mondayâs RAW.
The following is from WWE.com: Rawâs milestone celebration on Monday promises to be spectacular and what would be more fitting for this extravaganza than to have a very special 15th Anniversary Battle Royal? There is no word on who will compete in the Battle Royal, but it will involve Superstars who have been on Raw in the last 15 years. Given this type of match and Rawâs penchant for unforgettable moments, Mondayâs 15th Anniversary Battle Royal could provide a memory that will go down in WWE history. Who will be the participants in Rawâs 15th Anniversary Battle Royal? Will there be any surprises? The only way to find out is to tune in to a three-hour edition of Raw celebrating 15 years of sports-entertainment greatness, live on USA Network with a special start time of 8/7 CT.
As noted earlier, Tammy “Sunny” Sytch will be making her first appearance in a WWE ring in over 9 years on this Monday’s 15th Raw Anniversary show. Apparently, Sytch had been told that they weren’t going to advertise her name because they wanted to keep her appearance as a surprise, but that’s obviously not the case after WWE.com listed her name in the show’s preview.
Expect to see cameo appearances by a number of the road agents who work backstage. Irwin R. Schyster, Sgt. Slaughter, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco are good bets to appear. You should also expect to see a few names who haven’t appeared on WWE TV in many years.
WWE.com is reporting that Trish Stratus is still scheduled to appear. Here is the current list of Legends making their WWE returns: Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Sunny, Lita, Trish Stratus, and Eric Bischoff. Plus all three brands will be together as well.
The upcoming WWE return of Sunny at Raw’s 15th Anniversary show is currently the front page story on WWE.com. They have posted an article and a bunch of Sunny photos from their photo archive.
According to a press release regarding the 15th Anniversary of Raw, WWE will be releasing a special retrospective magazine on December 31, reviewing and celebrating the 15 year history of Raw.
