Ron Killings is on his way to WWE. According to a report by Dave Meltzer in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Killings has not finalized his contract with the company because he has to pass a physical and required drug test. However, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Killings will work in WWE under the name K-KWIK Ron Killings.
The hiring of Killings was the work of John Laurinaitis. It was Laurinaitis that led the negotiations for the deal as the creative team was not in on it because of problems between RAW creative team writer Brian Gewirtz and Killings. Apparently there was an incident that occurred between the two during a pre-tape segment during Killings’ first WWE stint. Gewirtz vocally expressed his displeasure with the company bringing Killings back.
Given Killings’ problems with Gewirtz it is very likely that he will end up on SmackDown or ECW, not RAW.
