Cappotelli/WWE, 40-50 New WWE Stars?, Night Of Champions PPV

It appears WWE has changed the name of the 6/29 PPV to Night of the Champions. In years past, the pay-per-view was called Vengeance. The PPV will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

The Score in Canada will be re-airing the WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 7th, 2008 at 7 PM (ET).

From Danny, Manchester, UK: Here in the UK, last years TNA Lockdown PPV was being replayed on it’s home channel Bravo 2. During every advertisement break there was an advert for the new WWE The Music: Vol 8 CD. In these adverts for the CD, Chris Jericho is plugged as the “Reiging World Champion”.

Matt Cappotelli is still living in Louisville and under contract to WWE. He has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for his brain cancer. He’s in good spirits but still feeling the effects of it. In an interview in the U.K. a few weeks ago, John Morrison, who won Tough Enough 3 with him, said he still socializes with him and said that his dream is to wrestle again.

WWE’s developmental league Florida Championship Wrestling is home to about 40 to 50 aspiring WWE wrestlers. They are broken down in about four classes. They expect to have 70 wrestlers in the league, so some more developmental signings should be coming soon.
