According to a report, some Slammiversary preview shows running on PPV have made mention of Abyss wrestling Scott Steiner tonight. As of now Steiner isn’t scheduled to wrestle on the show as he was believed to have been out with an injury he suffered at last month’s Sacrifice PPV. Abyss will be returning at the show tonight, but more than likely won’t be wrestling in a match.
Rob sent this in: The new “Muscle” that debuted on this past Thursday’s iMPACT! broadcast was IWA Mid-South Women’s Champ, Mickie Knuckles.
As noted here on the site, there is talk of booking a heel stable of second-generation stars, with a veteran manager to lead them. Names being discussed for this are Afa Jr, Ted Dibiase Jr, DH Smith, Cody Rhodes and if they can’t get a veteran mouthpiece, Carlito to do the talking. There is also talk of a similar idea, but not made up with all second-generation stars. CM Punk and Chris Harris have been discussed if that would be the case.
