As previously reported, this week on SmackDown! Alberto Del Rio won the right to face Edge in a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship after defeating Christian in a number one contender’s match.
The Edge-Del Rio bout will be a ladder match for the World Title and will take place at the upcoming WWE “Extreme Rules” pay-per view.
