AEW Dynamite Results:
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicks off with a promo from MJF in the streets of Sacramento. Friedman essentially calls Hangman out to find him tonight so the two men can have a street fight.
MJF doesn't want to wait till Revolution, he wants a fight TONIGHT!

Back in the arena, Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Swerve Strickland, Prince Nana, and Ricochet for their Revolution contract signing. Ricochet jokes that these contract signings don’t typically go well for him but mentioned that he’s here so at least his house isn’t getting burnt down.
Strickland tells him to sign the contract. Ricochet says he’s lucky he’s giving him another match because he should be done with him. Ricochet says he’s focused on Mox and Cope and becoming the next AEW World Champion. Strickland says Ricochet is a self-righteous prick and he’s going to expose him this weekend at Revolution.
Swerve says the biggest mistake Ricochet made was that he left him breathing and now he’s going to end him. Strickland says after Sunday the only two things people will remember Ricochet for are that Swerve revitalized his career for a short time and his ring announcer wife.
Strickland goes to leave and Ricochet tries to attack him with the scissors but Swerve knew it was coming, stops him, and has a pair of scissors of his own. He stabs Ricochet in the head with it, busting him open.
Ricochet tried to catch Swerve Strickland unaware with the scissors!

Time for some in-ring action…
Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Orange Cassidy, and Mark Briscoe vs. Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Mark Davis, and Bryan Keith (w/ Don Callis)
- The finish of the match saw Will Ospreay hit Bryan Keith with Hidden Blade to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Winners: Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Orange Cassidy, and Mark Briscoe
After the match, The Don Callis Family attacks Will Ospreay and they bring out Kyle Fletcher. They all beat down Ospreay until Davis and Fletcher argue about it. Fletcher demands Davis hit Ospreay with the chair and after a bit of hesitation, he does. Fletcher hits a brainbuster on Ospreay on a set-up steel chair and flattens it in the process.
Grade: B+
A good opening match, but it felt like it went a bit too long. This was mainly done to set up the aftermath to make Ospreay look like the underdog going into the steel cage match at Revolution. Sunday is a must-win for Ospreay and arguably he shouldn’t be losing another match for a while.
A video package airs hyping the International Championship match at Revolution between Konosuke Takeshita and Kenny Omega.
The Rated R Superstar Cope vs. Wheeler Yuta
- The finish of the match saw Cope hit Wheeler Yuta with a Spear to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: The Rated R Superstar Cope
After the match, Cope gets on the microphone and tells Yuta this is what respect looks like and leaves the ring not taking him out with a Conchairto. Jon Moxley comes to the ring furious and bullies Yuta. Wheeler chooses to walk out on Moxley instead.
Moxley goes backstage and tells Yuta to keep walking. Mox cuts a promo on Cope and says he got what he wanted and he’s all alone going into Revolution Sunday. Mox says Cope will do nothing to him on Sunday and he’s gonna beat his ass this weekend.
Grade: B+
Good match between Cope and Yuta with a surprising outcome. I thought for sure Yuta was eating a Conchairto but they went a different way. Hopefully, it doesn’t come back to bite The Rated R Superstar later this weekend as he goes for the AEW World Championship.
A video package plays hyping up the match between The Outrunners and The Hurt Syndicate this weekend at Revolution.
Every great tag team needs a great montage as The Outrunners are coming for those AEW World Tag Team Titles this Sunday at Revolution!

MJF is outside with Renee Paquette and says he knew Hangman wouldn’t show up to fight him because he’s a coward. Page shows up in his truck and MJF runs away into the building. Page chases after him and attacks someone who looks like Friedman but it was a setup for MJF to attack him from behind.
Ask and you shall receive as a pissed off Hangman Adam Page has arrived for a fight!

Friedman hits Hangman with a Heatseeker in the ring and reveals a new shirt that reads “MJF did nothing wrong” before pummeling Page. Security hits the ring but MJF takes them all out. MJF puts on the Dynamite Diamond Ring and Hangman tries to counter but eventually gets decked with it.
MJF tries to set Hangman on fire but a ton of referees and security hit the ring and tackled him to the ground. They remove Friedman from the ring as he screams that he wants to prove his point.
WHAT THE HELL IS MJF THINKING!?

Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa vs. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford
- The finish of the match saw Megan Bayne hit Thunder Rosa with an F5 to score the pinfall victory for her team.
Winners: Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford
Grade: B+
Good match. I was curious to see how these four were gonna work together after what went down a few weeks ago. Everything seemed to go smoothly and that’s always good to see.
Mercedes Moné is ready for Revolution
Renee Paquette is backstage with Mercedes Moné. Mercedes puts over his TBS Title match this weekend at Revolution against Momo Watanabe. It’s announced that Momo will face Serena Deeb this weekend on Collision.
Max Caster comes out for his open challenge, it’s answered by Jay White.
Max Caster vs. Jay White
- The finish of the match saw Jay White hit Max Caster with a Bladerunner to score the pinfall victory. That was also the entire match.
Winner: Jay White
After the match, White gets on a microphone and says Cope and White have had each other’s backs since Worlds End, and this Sunday White says he’ll be there to see Cope win the AEW World Championship.
Grade: A+
These have been my favorite series of squash matches of all time! Hahahaha!
A sit-down interview between Toni Storm and Mariah May
Renee Paquette does a sit-down interview with Toni Storm and Mariah May. Before it can start, May spits on Storm trying to get her to get physical but Storm doesn’t fall for it. May says all of this is Toni’s fault. Paquette calls her out on her lies. There’s an intense verbal exchange between the two women and Paquette says she prays that neither of them get seriously hurt at Revolution.
You can feel the tension between both competitors as Mariah May & the AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm CLASH this Sunday at #AEWRevolution!

Ricochet and Kazuchika Okada vs. Swerve Strickland and Brody King (w/ Prince Nana)
- The finish of the match saw Ricochet hit Swerve Strickland with the Continental Championship to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Winners: Ricochet and Kazuchika Okada
Grade: A-
Ricochet and Okada celebrate their win in the aisle as AEW Dynamite goes off the air.
AEW Dynamite Review:
I think we got a solid go-home show tonight from AEW. But I didn’t leave tonight’s show feeling any more hyped to see this Sunday’s pay-per-view than I already was, which is disappointing. The show itself was good, but I wish it was great and I wish that my hype level for this weekend rose a great deal this evening but it didn’t. But I understand that not every show can be a home run.
Grade: B+
