Matt Cardona was not happy to see his wife Chelsea Green covered in blood on NXT this week.
The WWE Women’s United States Champion was in action last night. She teamed with Piper Niven against Sol Ruca and Zaria on NXT. However, Ruca pinned Green after a Sol Snatcher after Chelsea Green had her nose busted open as her face became covered in blood.
Matt Cardona didn’t enjoy seeing this sight. During the show, the former WWE Superstar posted a photo of Chelsea Green’s bloodied nose with a caption that showed his unhappiness with the injury.
“NOOOOOO!!!” Matt Cardona wrote, succinctly.
He followed this up with another Tweet, where he simply said “CHELSEA’S FACE!”. Matt Cardona was clearly worried about his wife and would have been even more unhappy when he saw her get pinned to lose the match for her team.
Chelsea Green also wasn’t thrilled with being busted open on NXT. She posted a clip of her bloodied face on Twitter, claiming she wants to “ban Tuesdays” in her role as the Women’s United States Champion.
“As your champion, I officially seek to BAN Tuesdays!!!”
